Welcome from the Chair
The Penn Forum for Women Faculty and Gender Equity (PFWFGE) was created in 2009 with funding from the Provost’s Office. The mission of PFWFGE is to build an inclusive community of women, gender nonconforming, nonbinary, and trans scholars and their allies that enriches the University through advocacy, professional development, networking, and community connections.
I am thrilled to serve as Chair of PFWFGE this year. My name is Kathleen Boesze-Battaglia, and I am a Professor of Biochemistry at Penn Dental Medicine, where I am also Assistant Dean for Faculty Development and Academic Initiatives. We’ve lined up some incredible programming for the upcoming academic year, and I hope to see you at our events. Your voice matters to us—please reach out anytime with your ideas.
