Join the Penn Muslim Life Program (MLP), Penn MSA, and SPARC Character Institute to Celebrate the Character of the Prophet (peace be upon him) on Tuesday, December 5th from 6pm-9pm.
SPARC has been hosting a series of programs focused on cultivating character. Rab’ al-awwal has traditionally been a month in which Muslims reflect on the Prophet SWS who Allah said exemplifies exalted character. Muslims gather to contemplate the character of the Prophet (peace be upon him) with the intention of transforming themselves to follow this example.
The night will be filled with Qur’an recitation, religious songs and poems, keynote from Shaykh Yahya Rhodus, and reflections from community leaders.
If you would like to reflect on the character of the Prophet at the event through Qur’an recitation, religious songs and/or poems, please email Muslim Chaplain Patricia Anton at .
