Children of all ages are observant, curious, and pick-up information everywhere. It is important to help them contextualize, understand, and be able to ‘talk back’ to racist images they may see or hear. Our workshop will provide a discussion space to help parents and other caregivers talk to their children about race, understand and reject racism, and celebrate diversity. The workshop facilitator will guide participants in a discussion and review resources for having these conversations across various age levels. Parents/caregivers of children of any age are welcome. Registration required; lunch will be provided.
