Helen Zia: Asian American Dreams - Asian Pacific American Heritage Week 2016

A collaboration with PAGE, Penn Q&A, CSA, APA Women, ASAM UAB, LGBT Center, UMC, Lambda Alliance

Join us for conversation and inspiration from the voice of our community: visionary, activist, journalist, Helen Zia.

Helen Zia is an award winning author, journalist, activist, and Fulbright Scholar. She is known for her work documenting the landmark civil rights campaign against anti-Asian violence in the 1980s, and her work was featured in the Academy Award nominated film “Who Killed Vincent Chin?" We are excited for her to speak on her work as an APA, LGBTQ rights activist as well as a journalist.

This event is part of Asian Pacific American Heritage Week 2016.
