How Do I Respond? A Practical Workshop for Dealing with Racialized Situations in Everyday Life

Ever receive or overhear a microaggression but not known how to respond in the moment? Us too! Join SCRWP for an interactive workshop on dealing with racialized situations in everyday life. Through role playing, group brainstorming, and "positive comeback lines", we'll work together to gain practical skills for dealing with racialized situations that come up in our own lives.

This 4-hour event includes a workshop, followed by dinner and drinks*! Can't make it to all 4 hours? No problem - just come for what you can - your presence at any part of this event makes it better!

This event is part of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Symposium on Social Change and is sponsored by Penn's Campaign for Community, GAPSA, SASgov, SP2, and GSE.

*You must be over 21 and possess a valid ID to drink
